2015 Bella Rada Rkatciteli, Borovitza, Danubian Plains, Bulgaria, White, 75cl

Borovitza winery

2011 Rkatciteli, Dry, White, Ready but can keep, Borovitza, Danubian Plains, Bulgaria, 75cl, 13% alc.

Produced from very old vines of the indigenous Georgian Grape Variety Rkatsiteli. Very concentrated grape juice and patience combined with the talent of Ogi Tzvetanov (sadly now not with us) has created  beguiling aromas of ripe citrus, honey and sea salt all mingling happily to create a divine rhapsody of flavours.  Almonds and hazelnuts on the crisp minerally charged finish complement adding complexity. Mmmm, serve on its own or with chicken and fish in creamy sauces.
