2014 Borovitza Solena Rkatciteli/Sauvignon Gris/Sauvignon Blanc 75cl

Borovitza winery

2014 Rkatciteli, Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Borovitza, Bulgaria, No added sulphites, Ready, Drink now! 75cl 13% abv

Unique blend produced by the maverick genius wine maker Ogi Tsvetanov that strikes with a profound tight mineral structure. Not unlike Chablis Premier Cru it is still youthful and tightly knit with subtle quince and citrus lurking on the delicate nose. Raised in partly new French oak barrels for 14 months and bottled with no sulfites added. The palate is deep with subtle nuttiness on a long dry somewhat salty finish, hence the name meaning salted. Great with seafood!
