2014 Mavrud Syrah Ivo Varbanov 75cl

2014 Mavrud Syrah Ivo Varbanov, Ready ,Drink now , Sakar, Bulgaria, 75cl 14 % abv

A limited edition by the renowned pianist who connects his wines to various classic pieces of music. This one is called 'Violet Spring'. Regretfully only 1300 bottles were produced of this vinous masterpiece. The ancient indigenous grape variety Mavrud has finally found its blending partner of choice and sings in black cherries and berries undertones. Robust but voluptuous and smooth. Great with hearty stews and hard cheeses.
