2016 Feteasca Alba, White, Dry, Ready but can keep,  Liliac, Transylvania, Romania, 75cl

Feteasca Alba, meaning 'white young girl' is an ancient indigenous grape variety probably originated in the region Moldavia which is now in both Romania and Moldova. It has nothing to do with Feteasca Neagra despite popular belief and Aromatic but balanced and fresh with quintessential aromas of white peach and   gentle limes and grapefruits. Unoaked, medium bodied dry, crisp and utterly delicious on its own or alongside grilled or roasted chicken and fish, salads, pasta and pizza.
